3 Day Mortice Course May

A comprehensive three day mortice course aimed at trading locksmiths who want to improve their mortice skillset. Day 1: Lever picking. Going back to basics and teaching techniques to improve your mortice game including picking square notch, open ended, enclosed levers and working out 'high/low lifts' and interpreting anti pick. Day 2: Decoding. This is designed to show you all the decoders that are out there so you can work out which ones would be useful in your geographicasl location, for example in Scotland there are many Legge, wheras in the North West it is mainly ERA. As well as decoding we show you how to relever and cut new keys, a great addition to maximise your profit. Day : Pin and Cam. This part of the course shows you the beauty of the pin and cam tools, these enable rapid opening of even the most complex of locks. We demonstrate our unique method of opening Fortress very quickly, also Chubb 114s and others time dependant.
